Kathleen Aspenns: [00:00:17]

Welcome back, flower lovers. Ro and I are really happy to be meeting with you again in this space on our podcast, and we felt like talking today about overwhelm. It is certainly a topic that we have been experiencing quite a lot personally and also professionally. We’re seeing it everywhere and in our communities. We’re definitely seeing how people are feeling really stressed and really overwhelmed. There’s a lot coming in all the time, there’s a lot for us to manage, and how do we stay in our hearts, in our bodies, and sane as all of this is going on around us? So, thank you for joining us again. We have quite a few essences to talk about and some strategies to help you feel a little bit less overwhelmed. So, welcome back, Ro.

Rochana Felde: [00:01:28] Yeah, boy, what a time we’re in. And the overwhelm, it layers upon itself. And actually, when we first started the podcast almost six years ago, can you believe it, that was one of our first episodes. We talked about stress and overwhelm. And I just took a look back at that, I didn’t listen to the whole thing, but it was our early days. The recording wasn’t a very good quality. I mean, it was something that I cringe listening to now, honestly, when I listen to myself, and yet, that was a really good episode because it was so appropriate and so timely.

And we are now in a time where I feel like we need to expand on it. Those problems that we collectively were having six years personally and collectively six years ago, were our more modern stress, how do we deal with the stress of the modern overwhelm, and how did that differ from, say, when Dr. Bach was around? And now, just within a few short years, think of how many things have changed. Think of all the things that have happened on our planet and collectively and in the field energetically in the way that we’re just getting so much more energy coming into the planet electromagnetically and in the whole spiritual sense. So there’s a lot that’s been happening. And let’s definitely dive in and talk about our core foundational strategies for overwhelm, whether it’s the garden variety or more, and build on that with, wow, what else do we need to really get through this?

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:03:40] Yeah. Like you were saying, this has really been our theme for the month over at Flower Essence Studies. We had our live community chat just a week or two ago. And if you are not on our mailing list to join into those live chats, I think you would really enjoy it. We just gather and we talk and we share, and it’s a wonderful shared space where we can get ideas from the community about what they’re needing and some essences that we’re using. So we’re building on what we were talking about during that live chat into this podcast because we feel like it’s still very relevant and there’s a lot more that we can share. We really enjoyed that. And so those of you who are listening, who are there live with us, we really appreciate your presence. And for those who didn’t catch it, you can always catch the replay on YouTube. So give it a try. You can join us at floweressencestudies.com/livechat and get on the list.

But this topic of overwhelm, I don’t think we can not start without bringing Elm into it. And Elm is one of our very favorite primary essences for overwhelm. We call it over-Elmed, and it’s one of the Bach essences, and it is really important for those who are really strong, really capable for the most part, but there’s that straw that breaks the camel’s back kind of dynamic. And when you just get, you’re handling it, you’re handling it, you’re handling it, and then, whump, you are completely overwhelmed, that is the dynamic that Elm brings as an essence.

Rochana Felde: [00:05:33] Yeah. I also like to talk about Elm in the context of feeling the ability to respond. So, when I think about the word responsibility, and that’s part of the overwhelm picture with Elm, is having so many responsibilities, having so many things on your back that you have to do, and that moment of feeling like, I don’t think I can do this all. So it helps with that confidence, that ability of being able to handle it. Maybe you can’t do it all, and it can give you the confidence to see that, accept it, and reach out for help where you need it, but also to reprioritize and confidently take on the things that you can take on. So, I like it for that a lot.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:06:32] It is a core essence for this topic. It’s certainly one of the very first ones I think of. Now, when Dr. Bach was making these essences, like you were mentioning, in that time-frame of between the Great War and World War II, certainly, he knew a thing or two about world’s trouble, and in the same time-frame in which he was making Elm, there are two other essences from his system that he was making that bloom at the same time in that very early spring time-frame. And Aspen is one that I think we really should be emphasizing in this moment.

Ruth and I had a really great class this week as part of The Bach Flowers in Contemporary Practice, and in this series, we spend an hour on each essence. And if you think that’s a lot, it is not. We could do this all day because there’s so much richness, and when you give them a chance to open up, each essence, we spend all this time looking at imagery and talking about the lore and the history and all the different ways that it can be used, it’s amazing the information that comes out, and then also the sharings from the students of the ways that they’ve used it and the things that they’ve seen. So, just a little plug, if you’re interested in the Bach essences, I highly recommend that you join us for this.

We were talking about Aspen this week, and I just felt so aligned with some of the historical lore that comes from the indigenous people of the British Isles, and the information that comes out about Aspen is that this plant, this tree was considered to be a protector tree. You’d create a crown of the branches of the stems to help you to go into the underworld and to return from the underworld safely. And so it has this strongly psychically protective quality. For those of us who are sensitive living in this time, there is so much going on and we really need all of the support that we can get from our plant allies in order to walk courageously through this passageway.

Rochana Felde: [00:09:10] I really love Aspen for all of the feelings of– the anxious feelings, the jittery anxiousness, the not knowing what’s going to come around the corner anxiousness, that feeling in your body of almost, nervousness is maybe not quite the right word, but it is maybe the nervous system, right, the nervous system not feeling grounded and smooth and solid and strong. And so when that is feeling that way, Aspen is one that I think works on that cellular level, and I’m not talking necessarily physically but energetically. And traditionally, it’s one that is talked about for unknown fears, versus Mimulus in the Bach line, that’s for known fears. And so when I first started using it, that’s really the only way I thought about it was, well, I’m feeling fearful or anxious, and I don’t know why. And Aspen is the go-to for that. But I feel like even if you might have an idea of why, it’s the anxiousness and fear that’s hard to articulate. It’s like not in the physical realm. It’s for those unseen energies that are maybe bombarding you, whether it’s psychic energies or geomagnetic from solar radiation and sunspots and all of that kind of thing. Aspen is, I believe, one that could also be used in those cases.

And I’ll just also plug The Bach Flowers in Contemporary Practice course that we have going on right now with Kathleen and Ruth facilitating because these conversations are so incredible. If you’re interested in this, registration is still open, and you can find that on our website at floweressencestudies.com.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:11:31] It really is a fun journey that we’re taking. There is so much more about Aspen, I’m not done with this one yet. Aside from it being my namesake, that really is my given name. My father Americanized the name when he immigrated, so I have this strong connection to this particular tree. And there is this character, what you were describing, it’s classically the unseen or the unknown fears, but it’s like that free-floating anxiety, that sense of dread that we experience. We don’t really know what to put it on, but we’re really feeling something. And in my work with animals, a lot of the animals pick up on this as well. And so it’s worthwhile to offer this essence to them too. Like you were saying, they pick up on the environmental changes, the ecological changes. I know a lot of times with the horses, they get really agitated before big storms. And so they are really attuned to the energy around them and the energy of the ecosystem around them. And giving them something like Aspen can help them feel more grounded, more in their bodies, and able to cope with the storm that comes. So, it’s not just for the humans. It’s for everyone who is riding on this beautiful planet in this moment.

Rochana Felde: [00:13:15] Such a good point. And just with anyone dealing with any kind of high sensitivity, highly sensitive persons, neurodivergent people with sensory sensitivity, I feel like this also comes into play just for those same reasons. Our bodies, whether we’re human or animal, are picking up on these really subtle shifts, these subtle frequency changes, like you say, a storm is coming, things are changing. And for humans, I feel like it’s something that we’re not taught about, and it’s not acknowledged.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:14:00] We humans have, on some level, lost the knowledge, or lost the what should be common knowledge, of being embodied creatures who live on this planet, who live in this ecosystem, who live on this world. And somehow, as modernity came about, we decided that we weren’t really part of it, that we were these disembodied spectators watching these things go on, but it shouldn’t really affect us because we’re not really part of it, right? It’s kind of that Cartesian dualism that, “Oh yeah, we’re so smart. We’re just watching this. We’re not actually being affected by it.” And I think that’s where you were going with that idea, right, Ro?

Rochana Felde: [00:14:53] Exactly. And it’s so true, that whole idea that man has conquered nature and that we aren’t affected by it, is so pervasive in our culture and our society, and so, no one would ever admit that anymore. And now, finally, we’re starting to talk about it and understand that with the highly– there’s 20% of the population is naturally highly sensitive. It is an evolutionary trait that we have evolved with and so have animals. 20% of animals are more highly sensitive than the rest of animals. And it is evolutionary because it helps us know when there’s a predator stalking us in the forest because we pick up on those subtle cues, those subtle sounds and differences, or we would know when a storm is coming. And so this stuff is baked into us, it’s baked into everybody, but there’s definitely a percent of the population that are more in tune. And because we just haven’t had this awareness, many of us, especially myself, grew up thinking, oh my Gosh, what’s wrong with me? Why do I feel this way? And having these feelings and this anxiety or this sensory overload, sensory overwhelm, because all of these things are happening and not knowing how to navigate that, is where we can really use our flower essences, I think, to help us stay in tune.

We don’t want to shut it out. We don’t want to drive it away and numb ourselves necessarily to it. And I spent many, many years of my life doing exactly that. And I’m here to say, it just doesn’t really change anything because as soon as that substance wears off, you’re back again and perhaps even more sensitive with zero actual tools to deal with it. So, here we are again talking about how flower essences can help us deal with reality. This is reality, this is the world that we’re in. And I also like how you bring up the underworld. And we all go through these journeys and need protection as we are on our path.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:17:35] Really good point about how– I hope, dear listeners, as you’re  listening to us, you’ve never gotten the impression that we are, A, immune to these things, and, B, not one of y’all. We definitely need all the essences. We are still working with our stuff, and yet, we have definitely learned a few things over the years that help us manage this level of sensitivity that we both are deeply embedded in. We  definitely needed these essences. I know they saved my life and I think that a lot of you– well, if you’re listening, you’re probably totally on board, and essences have probably saved your life, too.

Cherry Plum is another one I want to talk about because it’s a really important essence in this moment. It too is a very early spring bloomer. It is blooming here where I live now, it’s just starting to open up. And I really love this essence for helping to restore the balance of my heart. And speaking in the Chinese medicine terms, of the heart-mind, you might say, because when so much happens, and when I feel overwhelmed, and the world starts to sort of I feel crushed under it, and I don’t know what to do, and I’m just worried that I’m losing my mind. You feel on some level that you don’t know what to do with all this, you don’t know how to process this. And like you were saying, we try to avoid numbing out in order to pretend it’s not there. And the Cherry Plum gives you this clarity of your heart-mind, that it helps to push those things out. It helps to strengthen that pericardium factor of, no, you don’t get access to my heart. No, this information, all this stuff that’s going on doesn’t get to overwhelm me, doesn’t get to overload me. I can maintain my own integrity in this space, staying aware, staying present, not dissociating, not spiritually bypassing, but I can hold it, and I can hold myself in this space. For me, that’s really where Cherry Plum, it’s such a beautiful essence. I really love this one, and I recommend it a lot, helping you hold it together in spite of everything that’s happening.

Rochana Felde: [00:20:20] It makes so much sense to go with Elm for that exact purpose. As I was talking about having all the responsibilities, all of the stress of all the things to do, being overwhelmed with whatever is coming at you, and that fear of failure combined with the fear of losing it basically, Cherry Plum is the way to go with that. And traditionally, I think that fear of losing one’s mind, I didn’t quite get that. It’s always been in the Bach flower, the Five-Flower Formula, the Rescue Remedy, and I hadn’t really used it on its own too much besides that, and for a lot of years. And then I made a Cherry Plum essence. And the feeling of peace I got from that was really so profound. And as I was making that essence and the flower petals were just starting to fall away on some of the flowers on the tree and creating that mystical, fairy-like environment, the feeling of peace and holding that it was all okay and it’s just part of the process, really made me understand that essence a lot better. So, it’s a good one.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:22:05] You’re bringing forth something that’s really important that a lot of times when we’ve gotten to know plants personally, when we’ve had the opportunity and the privilege to get to meet them in person and to make that essence, if we can, it does become part of us. And so for everyone listening, the more that you can connect to a plant in its physical embodied form, if that’s possible for you, and if not, seek out images, seek out personal relationships with the plants in other ways because the more we bring them into our hearts, the more we bring them into our field, the deeper our relationship gets, and the more that they can do for us, the better the handshake becomes, the more they become part of our field of– and as we practice, we can imbue that energetic into our conversations with our clients. We can explain plants in different ways that meet the needs of an individual. And you can just feel the heart-opening when you can talk about a plant from a personal experience.

Rochana Felde: [00:23:25] Yeah. And I like to think, and I hope that when I talk about those personal experiences of being with the plant, even if I’m not articulating it exactly in the words that I would like to, that the feeling is the information, the knowledge from the– there’s a  lineage coming from the knowledge of the plant or the tree through me, through my heart, to you, that it’s coming through me. And I certainly hope that when I talk about plants and flowers and gems and these energies that we, with this podcast, are helping to spread that healing really. It’s not just about going to school, even though we have a school and learning, this does that. It’s about the experience and about receiving that energy.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:24:30] Beautifully said. I really want to bring the gemstones in now. The flowers, before we got on, we were having a quick chat about Steve Johnson’s work, one of the originators of the Alaskan Flower Essence Project. He’s passed now, and we miss him. “Hi, Steve. I know you’re listening.” He was such a great proponent for bringing gem elixirs into the field of flower essence therapy. And it’s a vital part of the system that he created. Now, Ro, you wanted to mention a video that you had found, and we’ll try to find the link for that to attach here about his theory of when gem essences or elixirs come into play.

Rochana Felde: [00:25:27] Yeah. The Alaskan Essences, they have a YouTube channel, and I will have to find it, but there is a video of Steve Johnson speaking about the more– and I’m wildly paraphrasing, but what I got out of it was the fact that people who begin taking flower essences may not need gemstone essences, but over time, and the more sensitive the person is, gemstone essences become really valuable for bringing in and grounding the information into the body. So I know that, Kathleen, you had some other thoughts and information about it from you doing your certification through Alaskan Essences.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:26:23] Yeah, it’s considered to be one of the pillars in that system, and the gem essences particularly create this structure to a formula. And when I’m making a formula for a client or for myself, I’m always thinking about including certain gem essences in order to help to stabilize and anchor the shifts because the flower essences are amazing at creating shifts in consciousness, creating alterations in the energy field, places that have been traumatized or wounded, and they help to shift those. And what can happen is if we don’t really ground those shifts into the physical, we can end up having a lot of unprocessed stuff, or we’re just churning. In order to really get to next steps, in order to really anchor these changes, I feel the gems really come into play to help to support and stabilize and anchor the changes that are taking place.

Rochana Felde: [00:27:37] Yeah, I’ve always loved gemstones way before I got into flower essences and just had a real affinity for them. I would use them quite intentionally in my jewelry, in what I wore on my body, and how I worked with them for a long time. So, when I found that there were gem elixirs, a whole range that Alaskan had made, it was a natural evolution for me. But personally, what I had found by taking flower essences for a long time and already being a sensitive person, was that I really needed more and more to make sure I was always adding something grounding and more three-dimensional as far as that solidity in helping the changes that have been catalyzed to integrate into me, into my body, into my space. And so they’re so important for integration. It’s really critical. And I, for years now, probably haven’t made a formula without a gemstone in it. Also, using trees is another great way to make sure that there’s a good grounding force in a blend, but the gemstones definitely bring another aspect to it that is so integrative, and I think it takes it to another level. I think there’s just a whole other level of healing that comes with using gemstone essences.

And in this subject of overwhelm, there are various gemstones that are helping with nervous system and stress, and I know we want to talk about one of those. Why don’t we go ahead and start with that one, and then I’ll move on to some of the others that I want to bring in. So, go ahead, Kathleen. I know you want to talk about Jade.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:29:52] Oh, well, yeah. I mean, it’s Jadeite Jade all the time. It’s one of my favorite gem elixirs. It’s just so soothing. It just helps to calm and soothe the nervous system. So, I really appreciate it as being part of a flower essence formula. Whenever you’re needing that calming, I look at it almost as something from the tea family. It has those same qualities as the Schima and the Camellias have, really that calming, cooling, soothing, grounding characteristics. So, that’s one of my favorites. We have a lot.

Rochana Felde: [00:30:35] Yeah. And just the stone itself, I believe you’re supposed to wear it against your skin. It’s working with your energetic system against the skin and helping with calm. I mean, that’s how it’s been used for a very long time. And it’s also got this affinity with the heart chakra, the green color of it and just the lovingness of it. So, it’s a beautiful one for these high-stress times and helping with that sense of calm and being nurtured almost.

So with what we’re going through, I feel like this overwhelm of not just, say, our media, we’ve got so many places where things are coming in. We’ve got our media overwhelm, we’ve got a big-time psychic overwhelm going on with everything, and we’re seeing high emotions on everything, on every kind of news media, on every kind of social media that’s coming in. And there’s just the sheer amount of facts coming in too. You take away the emotions and all of that part of it, there’s just so many things happening. There’s so many changes. I mean, it’s really, I don’t want to say the word unprecedented again and again because how many times can we say that word in the last few years, but there are so many things happening every day, things that years ago, the things that might happen once a year that were so big or so changing, now, every day.

And I feel also so much energy coming in from the sun, from the spheres, from the astrological stuff that’s happening. And there’s some different gemstones that can work on those aspects. So I like to look at Hematite. When we want to shield ourselves from being sucked in to the highly emotional scenes we might be witnessing, whether in person or on TV or on social media, that Hematite is just so good for just putting that shield up and saying, not my monkeys, not my circus, whatever that that saying is, and just letting it, I think of it, it’s this smooth, shiny surface I have. I’ll hold up my Hematite sphere for those who are watching our video, and you can just see, it’s like a mirror. So reflect back and think of it that way. Yeah. Is that something that you use, Kathleen?

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:33:56] Oh, for sure. For those of us who are sensitive, we tend to absorb things from others, and that we can turn into a superpower. I know that I couldn’t do what I do without having this high level of sensitivity and this high level of empathy, and it’s really overwhelming if you don’t know how to shut the gate and to go, oh, not right now. I’m not working right now. I don’t need to be open to absorb and to process the collective. So, it’s great to have it. We don’t ever want to remove it completely, but we do want to learn how to filter it. And like you’re saying, Hematite is pretty spectacular for that particular process.

Covellite is one that I would bring in to help that as well. Covellite, the way that Jane Bell described it, it’s like this blue force field that completely seals your field. It really does create that intact, complete energy field that only what you want to come in can come in, and the rest of it, out it goes.

Rochana Felde: [00:35:14] It is one, I believe, that they put it in the Alaskan Essences, puts it in a blender too. I think it’s in the travel blend, Travel Ease, right? And that’s part of that is staying– when you’re feeling vulnerable from the effects of all the stuff around you, all the people and the energy around you, I like the aspect of it that there’s such a loveliness, softness to the color of it. I wish I could find– I’d love to look for some jewelry of it or something that I could wear because it’s got a really neat look to it. And it helps when there’s that vulnerability, too, of knowing that, you’re like this. I know that I’m like this, and I feel vulnerable about it so that we can feel more support from our environment than being attacked by our environment. So it’s a great one for that.

And when it comes to all that mental stuff coming in, I feel like there’s a lot of mental overwhelm for some of the reasons I already mentioned and the psychic sludge that’s everywhere, the Fluorite is such a good one, and it helps to clear. It’s very clearing with psychic and perceptual blockages. And the way I see it, too, is it helps to put things in order, and I’ve always felt that about it. It has this square form. It’s a very– and I forget the term of it, but it has this patterning that is putting things in order. It’s like blocks. And I think about that in terms of my own thoughts, putting all of this information that I might be taking in, and Fluorite’s helping me to put it in order and also be like, let go, clear the parts that I don’t need, the parts that are blocking the flow.

And there’s also a Fluorite Combo that Alaskan Essences has. And I see that one is a little bit differently. It’s talking about how when there’s all sorts of energies going in different directions and there’s different flows, and you’re needing to prioritize and focus just on one thing, that’s the differential that I see between Fluorite and Fluorite Combo, if there’s any confusion with that.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:38:15] Thanks for sharing that. Those are some thoughts that I haven’t had previously about Fluorite, so I appreciate your personal experience of using those essences. I’ve always used them more for just getting energy to move when it gets stuck or it gets stagnant and not where it should be, it’s not serving anymore, it helps it to move it along. But it’s interesting that you have a really strong– and I’m sure that’s probably in the information from the gem elixir as well about the mental part because I never really thought about that. So, thanks for bringing that in.

I don’t think we could talk about this topic without bringing the Tourmalines in. They’re coming from the range of the Alaskan Gem Elixirs. They have the Black Tourmaline, but they also have the Black Tourmaline/Master Quartz. And I use that Black Tourmaline/Master Quartz a lot. It’s one of their research. And when those are made, it’s not two different crystals in a bowl. It’s a formation that was chosen. And Steve was a real rock nerd, so he had some really amazing specimens that he made these essences with. And so it has both elements together in a crystal. And I found that one to be really helpful at clearing off that energetic sludge, helping it to move. It’s a really powerful clearing essence.

Rochana Felde: [00:39:52] I love it so much. If you go to the Alaskan Essences website, I think that there’s a picture on there, and you can see what Kathleen is talking about, that it is a stone that has both the Black Tourmaline and the Quartz, which is a little bit different than Tourmalated Quartz which is another essence. and this one has– I mean, you can just tell by looking at it, it is such a special stone, this vibration. And it’s working at such a deep level in the body. So, regular Black Tourmaline helps to clear out what you don’t need. It’s a great energy maintenance stone I’ve used. I use it constantly in client formulas, the Black Tourmaline. And then when I want to add more to it, this extra power to it, and one that’s working on even maybe a little bit more of a spiritual level, I think that the Black Tourmaline/Master Quartz is a really lovely one for that.

And there’s a few other quartz’s in this gemstone line that  Alaskan Essences has. And the Rutilated Quartz is one that I have been really vibing with lately. It’s seemed to really come in as something that is really appropriate right now. And I’m actually wearing it in my pendant, if you can see that, but it is Quartz that has strands of Rutile, which is another mineral throughout. And Rutile is this beautiful gold color. So it’s bringing in this gold light and magnifying it with the Quartz. And what it’s working on is when there is so much energy and information, and this is part of what I was saying and what I’m feeling coming in from the non-physical world, from the spheres, from guides, from angels, from the sun, I feel like all that’s really kicked up a lot in the last year, and it’s cool and all, but it is overwhelming. It can definitely feel overwhelming, and that overwhelm can make things more distorted and confused. So, there is a more difficult time just focusing on what am I even listening to here? Where is it coming from? And I need to always constantly reconnect with my higher self and refocus. But the Rutilated Quartz helps with that overwhelm, and it helps to have that precision alignment with the sources and energy that we want. And I feel like there is a stabilization that’s coming with it and integration that it’s helping with.

Kathleen Aspenns: [00:43:14] I have been more and more really thinking about the different types of Quartz as being clarifying amplifiers for whatever effect I’m looking to achieve with a formula. And so, yeah, I agree with you with that Rutilated Quartz bringing that clarity of information as it’s coming in. I feel like it’s a really perfect partner for the Queen Anne’s Lace, which I know we recommend a lot as an essence. I mean, those two together, if you wanted to make a discernment blend, that would be a good way to go because there’s a lot, and it’s like, are these things really accurate? Are they true? What’s the motivations? And the Rutilated Quartz helps us to take in that information, to turn off the channels that are not serving us, to dial it down to actual, really good information that’s coming in, rather than all the information that’s coming in. And whether we’re thinking about that literally or metaphysically, there’s a lot out there. And like you’re saying, it’s all bombarding, and which ones do we want to listen to? Which ones are the ones that serve us?

Rochana Felde: [00:44:33] I love that idea about combining with Queen Anne’s Lace. What a power duo that would be. Yeah, very good. Just philosophically, what I’ve been thinking about and feeling into lately is in the past, when I’ve felt, as a sensitive person, so many feelings of overwhelm, and so let’s say my journey was initially trying to numb them out and then eventually becoming more comfortable with the reality of me and my body and my psyche and being in this world and working with flower essences and being on that journey, yet I do feel like I leaned a lot on flower essences for always calming, calming, calming, calming, calming in whatever and gem essences.

And what I’ve been doing lately, and I feel like maybe this message will resonate with some of you, is really strengthening like, now is the time to become strong. It’s like we’re here, the rubber has hit the road, and I don’t think it’s an option. I think we’re being called. I think we’re being called to up our game with our strength as, if we want to– I think of myself as a Starseed, as an Indigo, and whether you resonate with that or not, we are all here on this planet at this time right now. And if you’re listening to this podcast, I would imagine that you are somewhat sensitive and someone who wants to be someone that is working for positive change in this world, whether it’s with yourself and your family or on a broader scale. And my thought is that this is what we’re here for. This is why we decided to come and incarnate on the planet at this time. And I need to work on strengthening. I want to get out of a victim place of high sensitivity, and, oh, I can’t do that, or I can’t keep up with what’s happening in the news because it’s too triggering. I mean, yes, we do need to take care of ourselves, but also, I want to be stronger to where I am not as affected, and that I can be here and do what I need to do.

And so I feel like the gemstones are really stepping up to help us with that. And Quartz is one that is very much a stone of strengthening and clarity. And I feel like the Brazilian Quartz Gem Elixir is a great one to bring that to the blends, and also some of these other ones that we already talked about, the Rutilated Quartz, the Black Tourmaline/Master Quartz combo, there’s Quartz throughout in various gemstone elixirs. And they add that power punch, they kick it up. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling like I need to do that, and I have been taking some pretty hefty gemstone blends over the last few months, and I feel like it’s really doing that. I mean, it’s quite profound in the way that I feel like I have the capacity to handle a lot more than I used to be able to handle.
